LME 004 perform everything live - no pre-recorded backing tracks - just a great professional live performance packed with energy and most importantly, Soul!

LME 004 can be provided as a 5-piece or 7-piece Soul band with or without the brass section. In addition to the band, we can also provide a host of additional entertainment, such as a Jazz Duo/Trio/Quartet to add that touch of class to your function or a DJ to complement the band.

Band - LME 004

As well as the main band, we can also offer a wide range of additional services, such as a Jazz duo, trio or quartet for a touch of sophistication, or a DJ to complement the band. If required, we will also play music on CD between our sets at no extra charge.

We pride ourselves on our great sound, smart appearance, and professional, accommodating and friendly attitude. The band is comprised of professional and semi-professional musicians most of whom have studied music at degree level.

LME 004 perform all the greatest hits by The Commitments, Blues Brothers, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, The Commodores and many more as well as some fantastically funky 70s disco thrown into the mix for good measure! You and your guests will be dancing all night to the infectious funky sound!

How much should I expect to pay?

Our fees are dependent on the location of the event as well as other factors. Please contact us for a quote specific to your event.

How far will the band travel?

We set no limits on the areas we cover - we have previously traveled to all corners of the UK as well as overseas. The band is based in the South East and your quote will take into account our travel expenses and time.

Do the band require food and/or drink?

Please consider that the band members are often away from home for some time, set up, performance and packing-down time are all taken into account. If you cannot or would prefer not to provide a meal and drinks for the band, please let us know and we will factor this into our quote.

Is a changing room required?

Yes, we will require a room to change in. The room should comfortably accommodate eight people and should be available for the duration of the event.

How much time does the band need to setup equipment?

Depending on the size of the venue, we may require up to three hours to setup and soundcheck equipment. For smaller venues (generally weddings, private parties, etc), an hour and a half is more than adequate.

If the band are required to arrive earlier than three hours prior to the start of the main performance, then additional fees may apply, at the bands discretion.

Is there anything else I should know?

We like to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. We set reasonable limits within the prices we quote for our performances. Our quotes include performances until midnight and arrival at the venue up to three hours before the time of the first set, assuming the first set starts at or after 7.30pm.

We will happily quote for performances which may not fit within these times.

The following are inclusive in the price; full PA system, coloured lighting, music on CD between sets. We are also happy to quote for extended performance times and music to be played through our sound system before / after our performances.

If there is a particular song you would like the band to play (e.g. for a first dance), we will do our best to accommodate your request. Just mention it when enquiring!
